Late one evening, Our Pal’s Place received a text from our county shelter contact stating two brothers were about to be euthanized. The county shelter was closed so we could not meet them. “What do you want us to do?” was our response. “If I can stop it, will you go meet them tomorrow?” came back to which we replied “Yes!”  Our contact was able to keep the boys who were next in line from being killed that night and Our Pal’s Place was at the county the next morning to meet them.

Hunter (white) and Hayes (brown) are sweet boys who just needed a second chance. Their person had passed-away and the family turned the unwanted duo into the county shelter. At O.P.P., the boys showed us their handsome “sits” and good leash manners. We believe the boys are a bonded pair so we are seeking a home that wants two companions.

Fun fact: Hayes always positions himself to the left and Hunter always goes to the right.
