Allie was living in a homeless camp when picked up by Cobb County Animal Services. Her poorly cropped ears and nub of a tail suggest someone was unkind to her, and testing positive for heartworms confirmed she had not been well cared-for. Despite her hard life, Allie maintains an infectious love for all and a hope that never dims! When Our Pal’s Place saw her walking through the county shelter during an intake visit, we asked about her. We were told her story and informed she was still in a stray-hold and would be starting heartworm treatment. Weeks later a plea went out to help Allie get out of the county shelter and we immediately responded.
At Our Pal’s Place, Allie is learning manners as she gets so excited when meeting new people and receiving attention. Allie has a beautiful sit that she now shows off and her favorite is receiving belly rubs as praise. Allie is smart, loving and aims to please! Her heartworms have been cured, she is in good health and ready to find her forever home!
