A common “reason” people surrender their pets to county shelters is moving to a place that will not accept their pet. (So move somewhere else!) This was the predicament Kyla was in as her family was moving to an apartment that would not accept her. So her family surrendered her to the county shelter which immediately put her in danger of being euthanized when the county shelter needed space. Kyla was terrified and started shutting down. When the Intake Team of Our Pal’s Place took her to the bonding room to meet, Kyla regained hope and a twinkle came to her eye. She showed her kind, loving personality and the team knew Our Pal’s Place could help her!

Because Kyla gets so stressed in the Pet Adoption Facility, she resides in a foster home and frequents our Daycare, Boarding & Training facility. There she has made many friends with whom she enjoys playing! Kyla is extremely smart and knows how to signal she needs to go outside. Kyla quickly learns routines and is very obedient. Kyla will thrive in most any home as long as she has people to love her.
